The Global Alliance of Indian Biomedical Professionals (GAIBP) promotes collaborations, networking and professional development among bioscience professionals working in academia, the bio/pharmaceutical-industry and the government. GAIBP aims to encourage professional development, transition to related fields and entrepreneurship for the life sciences professionals.

While the organization primarily focuses on the needs of bioscience professionals of Indian origin working in the US and in India, we welcome participation from our colleagues from all parts of the world. GAIBP also promotes transnational opportunities for individuals and their companies in both countries.

Letter of Condolence for Late Dr. H. G. Khorana

The members and board of Global Alliance for Indian Biomedical Professionals (GAIBP) are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Har Gobind Khorana, one of the most respected biomedical scientists of Indian origin of the 21st century. The GAIBP sends its heartfelt condolences to the Khorana family and the MIT where Dr. Khorana worked. Late Dr. Khorana served as an inspiration and mentor to many of the member scientists associated with the GAIBP. The organization will be observing a one minute silence in the memory of Dr. Khorana at the next general body meeting.
